Global Insights and Collaboration: Learning Through IERE Events

IERE connects the global power community by bringing together renowned experts worldwide through webinars and in-person events. These activities provide insights into the current status and demands of energy and power development in other countries, fostering technological advancement and international collaboration.

In November 2024, I attended the 24th IERE General Meeting and PLN Indonesia Forum in Bali, Indonesia, where I had discussions with experts from Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Germany, South Africa, and other countries on Enhancing Renewable Energy Penetration through Distributed Generation. Representatives from Japan, the Philippines, and other nations shared the current development status, challenges, technical measures, and future potential technologies related to distributed generation. The in-depth discussions and exchanges were highly rewarding, with many measures offering valuable insights for renewable energy development in China.

Bali is an excellent place for holding the event. The local cultural arrangements and enthusiastic performances at the welcome banquet were particularly impressive.
