The concept of TIS (Technological Issues & Solutions) is to identify technological issues of electricity globally and solve them through collaborative works. Each TIS project is proposed by an IERE member who wants solutions for specific technical issues. IERE might provide financial assistance based on the board’s guidance. In addition to financial assistance, technical support from IERE members for each TIS project is desirable.

Criteria for TIS project

Collaborative R&D projects among IERE members launched in 2011. Each R&D project is proposed by an IERE member who wants solutions for specific technical issues. The IERE Central Office announces the proposal to all IERE members and offers them to join the project. If other members respond and join the project, the proposal sheets shall be submitted by the R&D group. IERE might provide financial assistance based on the board's guidance.
